Meet Ruben Coetzee 👋
Huge congrats to Ruben on his new role as Capital Markets Director at Trad.Fi.
→ Former Web3 Partnerships Lead at Mansory
→ Former Partnerships Manager at Comet Cash
→ Former Senior Affiliate Manager at BC.GAME
He got his start managing a crypto fund at Invictus Capital in Cape Town.
Over the last three years he built partnerships across crypto: at BC.GAME, at Comet Cash, and at the Web3 arm of luxury car customizer Mansory in Dubai. He also runs his own advisory firm, Coetzee Crypto Consult.
For the past year he advised Trad.Fi on raising capital. Now he's joined full time to run it.
Here's what Trad.Fi does. AI and data centers need more power than the US grid can add. Home battery networks are the fastest fix, and the companies installing them need cash to build.
Trad.Fi funds the installation. It gets repaid in 60 to 90 days, when the developer sells a federal tax credit worth up to about half the system's cost.
His pitch: fixed rate, short duration, hard collateral, a known exit.
Ruben runs the capital side, working with credit funds, family offices and lenders who want bond-like safety with private credit returns. If you allocate to private credit, his DMs are open.
Cape Town. Crypto. Private credit.
Ruben keeps going where the capital needs to move.
This is what our network is all about. Keep building.
The market moves fast. Pyth moves faster.
Tomorrow. Thursday, October 8. 10:00 AM ET. Online.
Every trade, loan and prediction market needs one thing before it can work: the right price, right now. Pyth is where more than 138 institutions, from trading firms to exchanges, publish their prices directly, so apps and funds can use them the moment they change.
And it’s turning into a real business. Pyth passed $10.4M in annual recurring revenue in August.
Tomorrow at 10:00 AM ET, Pyth Connect walks through its biggest quarter yet: what shipped, who’s using it, and where demand for market data is heading next. One hour. A live update, then open Q&A.
There’s still time to register and send in your question.

A stablecoin card lets you spend digital dollars anywhere a normal card works. Stripe bought Privy, a crypto wallet company, in 2025. Now Privy's co-founder runs Stripe's whole crypto push.
