MoonPay is acquiring North Capital for $60M in an all-stock deal. North Capital brings SEC broker-dealer, trading, transfer agent and investment advisory registrations, plus securities tokenization infrastructure.

S&P Global is acquiring OpenZeppelin. Terms were not disclosed. OpenZeppelin writes the open source smart contract code that most of DeFi, stablecoins and tokenized funds run on. Over $37 trillion in value has moved through its contracts. They stay free and open source.

Kaiko raised $57M, led by S&P Global Ratings, with Nasdaq Ventures, BNP Paribas, Coinbase Ventures and RBC Capital in the round. The money scales institutional digital asset data, pricing and indices.

Atum raised $13.5M, out of stealth, from Variant, PayPal Ventures, Abstract and Road Capital. The money builds an open payments network for moving money across rails while businesses keep control of their customers and keys.

CatchBack raised $8M, led by Foundation Capital, with Y Combinator, Robinhood, Coinbase Ventures and Solana Foundation. The money builds digital mystery packs backed by real graded Pokémon and sports cards.

M&A
Superlogic, parent of Bookit, acquired Entravel Group’s crypto travel business and Spree.Finance. Terms were not disclosed. Animoca Brands joins as a strategic investor. Bookit lets people book travel and earn rewards with crypto. The deal adds 27 crypto partners including Kraken and MetaMask and puts its rewards program on stablecoin rails.
